Alexandra Shebalin, L.Ac., M.Ac., Dipl. O.M.

I am a licensed acupuncturist, board certified Chinese herbalist, fertility educator and mother. While my passion for holistic medicine has been lifelong, I found my natural calling in preconception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care during the transformative years leading up to my own daughter’s birth. Her birth gave me the profound lived experience I needed to deeply trust the innate wisdom of the female body and physiological birth. Since then, I have been deep in study and reflection on how the real experiences of mothers relate to the ancient wisdom of traditional medicine.

In Chinese Medicine, menarche, postpartum, and menopause are known as the "three golden opportunities." During these life stages, there is a monumental resetting of the meridians. When women are properly cared for during these transitions, there is a profound potential for deep restoration of the mind, body, and spirit.

Drawing on my well of knowledge from years of study, and hands-on experience working with women, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care. Whether you are navigating your first fertility journey, supporting a growing family, or weathering new hormonal shifts, my life's work is to help guide you through these sacred rites of passage.

I am a trained and certified Chinese Herbalist and Fertility Awareness Educator. I am also trained in natural pregnancy, birth and postpartum care. I have advanced training in Classical Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

As a New Hampshire native, I love exploring nature. When not practicing Chinese Medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family, and caretaking our beautiful land in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire.
