All Women Are Cyclical

All women are cyclical whether they have a cycle or not.
Women operate on both an infradian rhythm and a circadian rhythm, meaning they cycle with the sun and the moon, rather than just the sun as men do. Tuning into your cyclical nature as a woman can be the key to getting in touch with who you really are, behind your illness or symptoms. Women who do not cycle can follow the phases of the moon.

Part of what I see working with women is that they treat every day as their follicular phase. They are in constant summer mode, working hard to be productive to the point of burnout. Female physiology is not meant to thrive in constant production mode. We are meant to flow with slow and subtle shifts in our energy. Every cycle we have a winter, spring, summer, late summer and autumn. Each phase needs to attention and care.

Try to move with the pace of your cycle and see how it changes your perspective. Start with just having awareness of each phase. Then you can start to sync one aspect of your life with your cycle whether it be nutrition, movement or social interaction. Once you start building a life that honors your physiology, things we start to feel more easeful and intuitive.
